Blue Diamond Stamps

UCU- What is your business and when did it form?

BD- My business is the Blue Diamond Stamp Company which is a line of clear polymer art stamps that are perfect for all sorts of crafty and decorating occasions. I not only draw or source all of the imagery but I also make the actual stamps as well using a process that includes polymer goo and UV light. This is a relatively new business which I officially started only a couple of months ago to debut the line at the Craftin' Outlaws alternative craft fair in Columbus, OH. But I have been involved in the handmade scene for about six years now with my other business, Lucky Kat.

UCU- If you could have a super power what would it be?

BD- If I could have a super power, it would be having the ability of teleportation. For instance: I have the day off... let me just zip to Hawaii to spend the afternoon on the beach and then be back home for dinner!

UCU- Favorite holiday memory?

BD- One of my favorite holiday memories from when I was a child is when I was so proud I had proof that Santa existed because the cookies I left out for him on Christmas Eve were eaten...

UCU- Will you have a special $5 item for UCU's anniversary?

BD- To celebrate the UCU anniversary, I will be offering an exclusive stamp design which promotes buying handmade- which will be available for $5.

UCU- Got any new items you will be showcasing at the show?

BD- Since this is a relatively new project, I am making new designs everyday! I currently have over 140 unique images as well as five themed sets. Since they aren't available to purchase online yet (coming in January...) they will all be new to just about everyone :)
