Idolatre Clothing

UCU- What is your business and when did it form?

Idolatre Clothing slowly came into existence around 2007 and specializes in both quality fanciful and practical clothing. Stefanie McClelland (owner and sole employee) graduated from the Apparel Design program at Seattle Central Community College and knew right away that was destined to be a small business owner instead of attaining some meaningless job for a larger corporation. She has a passion for fun fabrics, and providing her customers with a non-discriminatory range of sizes (sweet & petite to XXtra Lucious and everything in between). Stefanie designs, patterns, and sews all of her own clothing, which keeps her plenty busy and out of trouble.

UCU- If you could have a super power what would it be?

IC- Being able to complete *any* craft project in 1 hour. Hair that dyed itself would be nice, too.

UCU- Favorite holiday memory?

IC- Falling asleep with the dog under the Christmas tree.

UCU- Will you have a special $5 item for UCU's anniversary?

IC- Hopefully. I'm working on a lot of things for the show right now. Some will end up being $5.

UCU- Got any new items you will be showcasing at the show?
IC- Military inspired jackets, and vintage inspired faux fur hats!
