Handmade Comedy Night - Laugh for Charity

Hey you! Are you ready to laugh your crafty a** off?
Come and join Non-Profit Comedy and EtsyRAIN at The Comedy Underground in Pioneer Square. This event is OPEN to the PUBLIC!

Q: What's "Handmade Comedy"?
A: Handmade Comedy is a benefit performance sponsored by Non-Profit Comedy and organized by EtsyRAIN to benefit Friends of the Orphans.

Q:Yeah, but what's the "Handmade" part about?
A: In addition to enjoying the performers "craft" (bad joke. groan. ;)? Well, this may be the first time ever that The Comedy Underground will be filled with a bunch of fun-loving, crafty folks at one time -- let's show them the joys of creative multi-tasking while we craft and laugh out loud all at the same time!

Q: Ummm...Does that mean what I think it means??
A: YES indeed! Guests are encouraged (but NOT required!) to bring their "Low-Light workable, Silent and Non-smelly" craftwork - such as knitting, crocheting or what-have-you  to work on while enjoying the show!

Free street parking is often available nearby, as are pay parking lots and most downtown buses.

Cost Cover is $12 in advance atwww.brownpapertickets.com/event/102652
$15 at the door, $8 for students (with valid ID)
A majority of the proceeds made from HANDMADE COMEDY will go directly to Friends of the Orphans to help them with their efforts.

Yummy pub-style food and refreshing beverages are available during the show No drink minimum!

IMPORTANT Crafters InformationThe ambient lighting will be fairly low, so keep your handwork simple as well as distraction and odor-free. But most importantly -- PLEASE don't let your project keep you from fully enjoying the entertainment!

The Comedy Underground is open to all ages except Friday/Saturday, but it is always a free speech zone, so think twice if you're easily offended or bringing impressionable youths.

The stage is down one flight of stairs but elevator access is available if arranged in advance. Please contact The Comedy Underground (206-628-0303) for more details on accommodations.
